How do I enroll in the Honda PACT Program?
First, contact one of our Honda PACT community colleges or technical trade schools to inquire about admission requirements into the program. You will get any questions you may have answered. Then once you’re ready to proceed forward, complete an admission application with the school and submit it with any required documentation.
In the meantime, if you don’t already have a valid driver’s license, now would be a good time to get one.
Finally, if financial aid is needed, it is highly encouraged to submit a free application for federal student aid (https://studentaid.gov/) as soon as possible.
Where are the Honda PACT program locations?

How long would it take me to complete the Honda PACT program?
Typically, it will take 2-years to complete the program; however, in some instances it can be completed in under 2-years.
How much does the Honda PACT program cost?
The cost to attend the Honda PACT program will vary from school-to-school, and from state-to-state. Please contact the school you’re considering for details.
Does the Honda PACT program have housing available?
Some schools offer student housing, and other schools don’t. You would have to check with each school you’re considering.

In the Honda PACT program, you will learn specific technologies used exclusively on Honda & Acura products, and will be given hands-on experience while completing your paid internship at a Honda or Acura dealership. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Will I be able to work while in the Honda PACT program?
Yes, the PACT program has a flexible schedule that allows our students to work at Honda & Acura dealerships while they’re completing their studies.
Do I get paid for the work I do while on the job training (OJT)?
Yes! Honda PACT students get paid while doing their on-the-job training (OJT) at the dealership. The wages for internships vary from dealership to dealership.
What industry certifications will I earn in the Honda PACT Program?
For the automotive program, you will either earn an Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology or a certificate in Automotive Technology from an ASE Education Foundation certified school, 4 Honda & Acura certifications taught by Honda-certified instructors, and the ability to earn ASE certifications.
What is the job outlook for Honda PACT graduates?
The job outlook for Honda PACT graduates is GREAT! With over 1,300 Honda & Acura dealerships combined in the U.S., and the continuous flow of seasoned technicians retiring, the demand for Honda PACT graduates is high! Some past PACT graduates have gained careers at our American Honda Corporate offices and our factories throughout the U.S.
Most Honda PACT graduates are recruited and employed by dealerships before graduation. The Honda PACT program has the highest placement rate in the automotive industry.
How much will I potentially earn?
The salary for automotive technicians at Honda and Acura dealerships will vary from dealership to dealership.
However, according to the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, “The median annual wage for automotive service technicians and mechanics was $47,770 in May 2023. The median wage is the wage at which half the workers in an occupation earned more than that amount and half earned less.
